These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website phoenixprivatechef.com (the "Site") and the private chef services provided by Phoenix Private Chef ("we," "us," or "our") in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and surrounding areas in Arizona.

By accessing the Site or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Services

We provide private chef services including in-home dining, event catering, meal preparation, and cooking classes. All services are customized based on client requests and availability.

2. Booking and Payment

• A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure your booking date.
• Final payment is due 7 days prior to the event.
• Pricing includes chef time, menu planning, and service. Groceries, staffing (if needed), travel fees, and gratuity are additional.
• Prices are subject to change based on menu selections, guest count, and market ingredient costs.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: Full deposit refund minus a $100 administrative fee.
• Cancellations 7-14 days before: 50% of deposit refunded.
• Cancellations less than 7 days before: No refund.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about guest count, dietary restrictions, allergies, and venue details.
• Ensure the kitchen and dining area are clean and accessible upon the chef's arrival.
• Notify us of any severe allergies (we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment).

5. Liability and Insurance

We carry liability insurance. However, we are not responsible for damages to property, injuries, or illnesses not directly caused by our negligence. Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate homeowner or event insurance.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including photos, menus, and text, is owned by Phoenix Private Chef. You may not reproduce or use it without written permission.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
